When the last of your single friends finally decide to get hitched, it’s practically a requirement that their flings before the rings are out of this world. Last fall, during another epic bachelor party, the ladies got together to drink wine and keep each other company while our counterparts invaded Louisville. One thing led to another, and we began dreaming about the bachelorette party to end all bachelorette parties.
So, as the designated travel agent of our friends, I planned it… and we made it happen.
Thunder from Down Under.
Dinner atop the Stratosphere hotel.
14 awesome people.
It is going to be epic.
BUT WHAT WILL I WEAR?!
The girls and I have made several shopping trips to find the perfect attire for our vacation. But, instead of perusing the mall yet again for options, I decided to let Stitch Fix try their hand at a box specifically for Sin City.
I explained my upcoming trip in the comments after my last Fix, and linked them to my Vegas-themed Pinterest board. What I received was incredibly personalized, and perfectly suited for a long weekend in Las Vegas.
Level 99 Pandora Stretch Sueded Leggings – KEEP!
These pants were my hands down favorite from this Fix. I love that they are slightly high-waisted, and the vertical seam in the front actually makes me look taller. Perfect for my new crop top!
Yes, I bought a crop top. I had a moment of self-confidence.
Under Skies Alexa Embroidery Detailed Tank
This blouse was just a little too… blousey. I’m still having nightmares of maternity tops, and this shirt just hit too close to that note.
But I did like the embroidery, surprisingly. Plus this was very lightweight – perfect for a hot Vegas day.
Mystree Wendy Crochet Detail Hi-Lo Dress
So, I’m only 5’4″. It’s pretty hard for me to pull of the hi-lo look. This dress was no different.
I have nothing against black, but am I the only one who thinks this dress is a little Elvira-esque? It’s kind of cute but I guess I’m just unsure how to accessorize something that involves crochet…
That’s my feeling about this necklace in a nutshell. It’s nothing special. I guess I assumed that a “Vegas” necklace would make much more of a statement.
Back it goes.
Loveappella Carlita Jersey Maxi Dress
I actually have a similar dress, in the same color, in my closet right now. Trust me, it did not cost HALF of what this dress costs.
So I cheapened my look with a cheap beer and a shameless selfie. It felt much more natural.
But, since we’re still talking Vegas, I could totally see how this dress would go from day to night rather easily. Good pick, stylist Joannie. 🙂
And please excuse the dirty mirror. It was Friday. If you remember, I don’t cook or clean on Friday.
So how do you think Stitch Fix did? Are these items Vegas-worthy?
Also, I need everyone to put on their best travel agent hat. Give me your best Vegas tips and must-sees!
