As a new SAHM, I have been doing my best to fulfill the job responsibilities. One of those duties, of course, includes feeding my husband dinner every night.
Now, I’m not much of a cook, so this is a work in progress for me.
I have been diligent in creating a weekly meal plan. I have started grocery shopping more than once a month, and actually buying green vegetables. Also, I’ve taken my Betty Crocker-ness to a new level by making Pinterest recipes 2-3 times a week.
Friday tends to be the hardest night of the week for me to make a meal. I mean, who wants to cook after a full week?! But, instead of going out again, I decided to make an easy, tried-and-true recipe last Friday night.
I was so utterly impressed with myself that I have to share my recipe with all of you. Future food blogger? I think so.

Samantha’s 5-Step Friday Night Chinese Dinner
Step One: Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Step Two: Pour one (1) box of spaghetti noodles into the pot.
Step Three: Make sure half the box misses the pot and falls into the gas burner. This will ensure your spaghetti noodles catch fire.
Step Four: Frantically put out the FLAMES so your house doesn’t burn down. At the same time, battle the smoke alarm while standing on top of a chair.
Step Five: Order Ming’s Wok delivery, while your husband laughs at you in the background.
Estimated time: 10 minutes

Since our kids have grown I have lost my cooking skills. Really. I feel so awkward in the kitchen these days. Fortunately my hubby will cook now. So you’re not alone. So nice meeting you yesterday. Love your blog title. Thanks for visiting me.
