I could get used to this SAHM thing. Sitting at TeaBuds on a Friday afternoon with a large Mango Bay Black Tea is good for the soul.

My date kind of fell asleep on me.

Who am I kidding? This is the first time Dot and I have left the house in days. Not to mention the first time I’ve wore jeans this week.

I read Don’t Quote The Raven‘s 5 last week, and I feel like I should make a confession.

Sister Wives. I’m obsessed.

Seriously. I watched all three seasons on Netflix while I was on maternity leave (and then was depressed for a good two days when it was over). It’s fascinating, and creepy, all at the same time. Live-texting with my sister during last week’s new episode kinda made my night.

Does it make me a bad mother if Dorothy likes watching Sister Wives too?

Every year, for approximately 2.5 weeks, my husband refers to me as a cougar. Thankfully that ended for this year when we celebrated Courtny’s 26th birthday on Sunday.

Brunch at Petit Chou + dinner at Pizzology = heaven. I may have influenced the restaurant selection a little… but that’s what good wives do, right?

Speaking of birthdays – today my baby sister turns 18.

In honor of Jessica’s birthday, Dot wanted to carry on her aunt’s legacy. You know, the one where she thought she was a dalmatian until she was approximately 5 years old.
