So, my first thoughts when opening my April Stitch Fix…
Even drama with my FedEx man couldn’t damper my excitement over this box.
Those COLORS!
The HAPPINESS!
It’s finally SPRING!
This box was put together by Stylist Heather, because my usual Stylist Hailey was unavailable. And as much as I love Hailey, Heather did a pretty damn good job. She was close on a lot of items, but probably not whole box worthy…
So let’s begin shall we?
Please note: I have not decided to keep anything, yet. As usual, I want your feedback! What should Samantha keep?

41Hawthorn Una Sleeveless Elastic Waist Halter Dress – Small – $68
This color? I die. Only my favorite color, ever.
After my last Fix, I asked for more spring dresses. While I loved the dress in last month’s box, I just couldn’t help but feel like it was way too “wintery” for the events I have coming up. This 41Hawthorn dress, though, definitely fits the bill.
I love the unique neckline, and the length, but I’m struggling a bit with the elastic waist. I’m not sure it’s doing a whole lot for my chest area. What do you think?

Verdict: Returned… regretfully.
Color: Jewel Tone Purple

Necklace | Stitch Fix
Shoes | kelly & katie (old, similar found here)

Renee C Cheli Striped Maxi Dress – Small – $68
I’ve never had this problem.
This maxi dress is too short on me.
I’m 5’3″.
Unfortunately where the waistline is supposed to go, and where it needs to go to make this dress long enough, just isn’t working for me. I think if I would have received this in a medium, though, I would be keep it in a heartbeat. Very well constructed, with a double-lined top.

Verdict: Returned
Color: Navy
My Pairings:
Denim Vest | Stitch Fix
Necklace | Stitch Fix
Shoes | very, very old

Kut From The Kloth Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean – 4 – $78
I must pin a lot of boyfriend jeans. That, or my stylists just really want to see me wear them. But, I just haven’t found a pair that really work for me yet and don’t resemble “mom jeans.” These are just a little too big, and with that price tag I don’t think I can justify buying them.
I think at this point, I’m going to update my Style Profile to say, “no jeans.” So far the only pair of pants that I’ve really loved were the really ridiculously expensive red jeans. :/

Verdict: Returned
Color: Blue
My Pairings:
Necklace | J. Crew (no longer available)
Shirt | Gap (similar here)
Shoes | Target

41Hawthorn Berneen Dolman Knit Top – Small – $58
Love the color, love the pattern, and surprisingly love the dolman cut.
Hate the price.
Stitch Fix has sent me dolman tops several times in the past (see here, here, here AND here), but none of the previous pieces were made in this same fabric. The Berneen Knit is much lighter, and perfect for the warmer weather we’re FINALLY seeing here in Indiana.
They must really love their dolman’s out in San Francisco…

Verdict: Returned
Color: Teal Green
My Pairings:
Necklace | J. Crew (no longer available)
Jeans | Flying Monkey
Shoes | vintage, Hot House Market

I ended up keeping just the necklace. It was the right price, and I loved it! I tried to talk myself into the purple dress, but it was hard to pay $68 for something that I didn’t love all the way around. If it had a different waistline, it would have been a keeper!
