Oh, Stitch Fix. How I love thee…
This month’s Fix was much better than last month’s. Everything fit, which means I didn’t need my husband to help me out of the blouse that nearly was destroyed by my other self.
You know, my Hulk side.
I try to stick to the “one item rule” when I receive my Fixes. I got a Stitch Fix gift card for Christmas, though, so I was sure all bets were off. However, I was able to restrain myself, but only because I’m about to do serious damage at IKEA with some lovely ladies tomorrow.
If you haven’t been following my Fix recaps, you can start at the beginning here.
41 Hawthorn Kia Keyhole Bishop Sleeve Dress
Ok, I’ll admit. I was not a fan of this dress. It’s a weird polyester fabric, and the sleeves are straight from 1975. In a different fabric, I probably would have been all over this dress because I can imagine how cute it would be with tall boots and a chunky cardigan. But as is…no.
41 Hawthorn Queensland Dolman Jersey Top
Honestly, for my life, this makes the most sense. This shirt is COMFY. But it’s a plain green shirt. I may not love every item in every one of my Fixes, and I’m okay with that, but I at least want the items to be fun. This kind of bores me…
41 Hawthorn Bixby Swan Print 3/4 Sleeve Blouse – KEEP!
See!? This is fun! Who doesn’t love a swan shirt?
Another reason I love, and kept this shirt, is because of the style. It isn’t fitted, but it isn’t too blousey. I’m definitely not bikini ready, so I like that this is loose without looking like maternity wear. Maternity clothes suck.
Revel Charlotte Striped Raglan Sweater
If you know me, you know I loathe black and blue together. Almost as much as I hate brown and black (outside of leopard print, of course). This sweater fit me well, but not a keeper under my one item rule.
Bay to Baubles Christo Multi Leaf Stone Bracelet
Sad face. 🙁
I wanted this. Really bad. It goes with everything I own, it was nice quality, and it’s kind of adorable. I had to have my husband talk me out of keeping it. I was fully prepared to pay the $38, but then I remembered all the awesomeness that is about to happen at the outlet mall tomorrow…so back in the mail it went.
Boo.

Like I mentioned, I don’t always love everything in my Fixes. I fully expect to see items that I don’t like – and I think that’s part of the fun. I subscribe for my sanity; to give me something to look forward to that is all for me.
