Today is a very good day.
I think the universe looked down on me this morning, and realized that maybe I needed some moral wins after a weekend with a non-napping toddler (who, I should add, has recently learned to take off all her clothes and dirty diaper during nap time… daily). The world must have been like, “That Samantha. I bet she could use some good news on this fine Tuesday.”
You’re so right, world.
So I wasn’t mad when I looked at my phone this morning, and saw this as the top headline:
My love for IKEA is well documented (here and here, for starters). Now I’m going to be about an hour from a store, instead of three… and well, that’s pretty awesome news (for me, not my husband’s wallet).
Oh, and I managed to make cookies for the MOPs Pinterest Party this morning that were not only decent but people actually picked them up and ate them.
Cookies are not my strong suite. Making something edible is a total win for me.
Perhaps the biggest moral victory? I impulsively decided to get bangs yesterday. When I woke up today, I didn’t regret it. #FTW
Thank you, universe. I owe ya one.

I decided since you can pull them off so well, maybe I could too!

Yay for an Indy IKEA!!! In fact, right here in my town (Fishers)! Now, how to survive the 2yr wait for it to be built…

I heard that putting the diaper on backwards during nap time and putting them in footed pajamas backwards (to either confuse them or their little bodies cant unzip them all the way) is a way to get them out of the take-it-all-off phase. 😉
Let me know how it works! My son is 15 months and I am keeping this in my arsenal for later.
PS- bangs look amaze!
