I didn’t blog about my last Stitch Fix, because I was too lazy to get myself ready for photos.
That was a mistake, because it was by far the best Fix I have ever received. And no one will believe me.
So now, you get to see pictures of me with a dirty high bun and yesterday’s makeup because I had to get these clothes to my mailbox before noon. Sorry, not sorry.
For my October box, my stylist request went something like this:
“WE’RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! I need a casual dress for dinner with Snow White. And sandals for walking around the parks. And shorts, because it’s obviously Florida and it’ll be 100 degrees. Oh, and BTW, it’s about to be like 30 below in Indiana, so can you throw in a chunky sweater too? Do you have belts?”
Pretty sure I gave my stylist whiplash. But she delivered!
**Note: just look past the quality of these photos. And my photobombing cat. I’m not proud. Yikes.**

Market & Spruce Madrella Slouchy Boyfriend Knit Tank – Small – $38
Yes. I realize this is a plain gray tank with a pocket. But I loved it.
Everyone on Instagram talked me out of it, though. “You can find that somewhere else cheaper!” Oh yeah!? Are you going to find the perfect boyfriend tank and deliver it to my house for me for under $40?!
Now I’m mad I listened to you people and sent it back.
Verdict: Returned… regretfully.

Loveappella Kolton Knit Dress – Small – $68
I don’t know what it is about this dress, but no.
I like the colors, I like the pattern, but I kind of hate this dress. Maybe it’s the stitching? Or the waist? I can’t even put in to words why. You’re just going to have to trust me, I guess.
Verdict: Returned
Color: Navy

Market & Spruce Cotulla Button Back Sweater – Small – $58
This was the overwhelming favorite on Instagram, and I have to admit that I’m pretty smitten by it. I’ve always had a crush on elbow patches, but the button-up back is what sold me on this sweater.
Verdict: Keep!
Color: Burgundy
My Pairings:

Level 99 Cindie Printed Short – 4 – $78
These fit nicely, which is usually not the case when it comes to me and shorts. But I couldn’t get past the material. It was like… silky cotton, maybe? Kind of like really bad 1970’s drapes?
Yeah. Not my style. And not in my price range.
Verdict: Returned
Color: White
My Pairings:
T-shirt | Target

DV8 Dena Strappy Sandal – 7 – $65
I kind of adore everything about this sandal. The metallic detail, the lace-up… but these felt SUPER cheap for $68. Like, if I’m paying $70 for sandals, they better be made of real leather (of which, these are not). They would be great for Disney World, which is what I was looking for, but I’m afraid they may have fallen apart after just a day or two.
Verdict: Returned
Color: White

So, nothing for Mickey’s House. But it is probably way more practical that I got something for Indiana’s upcoming eternal winter, right?
Next time, I’ll like shower and do my hair before taking these photos. And maybe during a time with less blinding natural light. And maybe with a tripod that isn’t broken… #fail

Love the sweater you decided to keep! I have been wanting an elbow patch sweater but still have yet to buy one.
