TWENTY!?
This is my TWENTIETH Stitch Fix?!
Don’t tell my husband that.
Do I get some sort of loyal customer award? Like, a trip to the Stitch Fix warehouse in San Francisco, a la Living in Yellow? Pretty please?
Well, since this is the twentieth time I’ve reviewed my Fix, I’ll assume you already know that I can’t make a decision and need your help in deciding what to keep. You also probably already know that I live by the One Item Rule, where I only keep one item per box in an effort to stay on some sort of budget.
But, what the hell, this is my TWENTIETH Fix. Let’s celebrate and keep the whole thing this time, mmmkay?

Skies Are Blue Gena Cut Out Detail Top – Small – $48
I’m kind of in love with this shirt. Bright color, v-neck, light and flow-y chiffon AND cut outs?!
Yay.
Also, I’m wearing a normal bra with this shirt, and you can’t see any strap action through the back detail. This top would be easily dressed up for date night, or down for my typical days… aka grocery shopping.

Jeans | Flying Monkey

Fun2Fun Clarise Mixed Print Tank – Small – $38
I was a little worried about this tank. I mean, I’m usually as adventurous as stripes… and well, this is a lot of print.
But it’s soooooo pretty.
The colors are much brighter in person. I want to say that it’s a little big, except I think it’s supposed to be that way. Very forgiving, for sure!

Verdict: Returned
Color: Purple
My Pairings:
Necklace | J.Crew (old)
Jeans | Flying Monkey
Wedges | Colin Stuart (clothing swap score!)

Gilli Tom Maxi Dress – Small – $74
I pinned a different maxi by Gilli, but I might like this one more. I think the black top and the back detail make it a little dressier – which is good when you have a billion wedding festivities this summer.
Maybe I should have waited to rent a dress for my cousin’s wedding… oh well.
I will say that this dress is a little long. I didn’t think it was too bad until I put on 4 inch heels… and it still grazes the floor. #shortpeopleproblems

La Made Brodie French Terry Skirt – Small – $68
So, it took forever for me to figure out how to style this skirt. Like, it’s a casual french terry skirt… what do I do with that? I opted for a slouchy tee and my “old man” sandals, and kept with a neutral color scheme.
The longer I had this skirt it on, the more I liked it. It’s growing on me…
But, be honest. Is it a little too “mommy?”

Verdict: Returned
Color: Blue
My Pairings:

Shoes | vintage, Hot House Market

Moda Luxe South Hampton Tote Bag – $58
That’s my excited face.
Remember a few weeks ago when I gave you the five almost-but-not diaper bags I was crushing on? I think this has potential, even if it’s not real leather.
And I like the price. 😉
Verdict: Returned. I can’t get my mind off that Magnolia Market beauty…
Color: Tan

So, what do you think? Whole box worthy? If I can only pick one thing, what you would pick?

I vote maxi dress or the tank. Very much digging the colors! If the dress is too long I can always hem it ;P

Ooh I like your fix! My favorite is definitely the tank top! And yep it’s supposed to fit loose! I got a similar tank in mine (in terms of cut), but mine is a “multi-fabric” tank, meaning part of it is cotton and part is this silky mesh. I love it! I ended up buying my whole box this time (it was my first box) but my husband just might kill me, so I think I’m going to have to implement your rule of being allowed to keep only ONE item per box! Haha!

If I were to pick any one thing it would be the green shirt, I love the maxi,Mobutu it’s a tad long. I am not crazy about the skirt though. :-/
Leslie says
I LOVE that first shirt you have pictured here. My third fix is en route and I am secretly hoping that shirt is in mine! 🙂
Michelle says
Love that green shirt on you! That back detail is so sharp on you. I also love the maxi dress on you especially the way you have hair in a bun up like that, totally shows off the back again. I think it would be worth hemming personally. I thought the skirt was okay, not sure it’s worth $68. If it were a $20 skirt, for sure, it looks comfy and stylish for a mom tooling around town. All in all, you got a great box this month!

My favorite is the green shirt, hands down.

I definitely wanted to keep the whole box, but in the end I only kept the Skies Are Blue Gena Cut Out Detail Top. The Gilli Tom Maxi Dress was a close second! Come on, Stitch Fix! Hook me up with an awesome maxi next time!

i love that skirt…but you’re right…that would be hard to style…you almost have to have exactly what’s on the card. I get my FIRST on May 14…it’s my birthday present to myself. I’m on pins & needles!

I am loving the Fun2Fun tank! I pinned it in hopes of getting it in my next fix! I also love the Maxi dress, but hate that it was so long!
