Over the last several months, Courtny and the guys (read: and all the girls) have been planning a surprise bachelor party in Louisville for our friend Dave. The boys dreamed up a complex storyline involving a semi-fake ClassRealm investment pitch that not only kept Dave preoccupied, but provided for the perfect alibi to get Dave away from his bride-to-be for the night.
So while Courtny, Ben and Dave made their way to the big “business dinner,” the rest of the crew was already waiting with Irish Car Bombs.
Needless to say, the plan worked…
So why am I blogging about a bachelor party that I (obviously) did not attend? Because when the guys are away, the girls can get together and drink fake wine. Props to Kristin for being the responsible blogger with a tripod.
Girls’ Night was definitely more tame than the boys’ (since our “party” involves a 5 month old and a 9 month preggo), but we still had fun nevertheless. What could be better than cheesecake, real/fake wine, Facebook stalking and comparing the texts and photos we were receiving from our very intoxicated counterparts in Louisville?
Oh, and we may have started planning a Vegas trip for the Parks Wedding that involves Chippendales and Britney Spears…
Speaking of the Parks Wedding, with the boys gone I got to spend my Saturday helping my bestie Amanda pick out her wedding dress. It’s been a few days since I picked out my wedding dress, so being extra girly and seeing all the sparkles was so much fun!
After a full day of searching (plus an extra day just to be sure), she ended up purchasing the most gorgeous dress. Cody won’t even know what hit him next July!
Seriously. We should send the boys away more often.
