Dear Stylist Hailey,
Your biggest fan
Let this review be my official request to have Hailey style my Stitch Fix every. single. month. Seriously. If I wasn’t begging my husband for a beach vacation, this whole box would be mine all mine. She has paid attention to my previous reviews, studied my Pinterest board, and filled a box full of everything I could ever want – unique, SAHM-qualified pieces that will make a statement. Boom.
Without further adieu, my 17th Fix. My name is Samantha, and I have a problem.
Also, check out the better photography! You were this close to more bedroom mirror selfies when I realized that my husband has two thumbs and could probably work a camera. Boom x 2.
RD Style Akio Faux Leather Jacket – Small – $108
I hated this motorcycle jacket when I pulled it out of my box. The description says “tan,” and Stylist Hailey calls it “camel,” but I think it’s more of a yucky salmon. Definitely has a pink hue, in my opinion. Of course, my dislike of the color was a forgotten thought when I saw my husband nearly drool over this look. Perhaps I should add a few biker-chic pieces to my wardrobe.
Just not this one.
Send this to me in black. Or gray. Or brown. Or even burgundy… just not salmon-y blah.
Fun2Fun Holston Crochet Trim Solid Blouse – Small – $48
Um, super cute. What you can’t tell from the photo is that this top is made of an airy chiffon, has adorable crochet trim around the sleeves, and a little keyhole button on the back. You also can’t tell that it’s 36* in this photo, and short sleeves just aren’t practical around these parts until May.
Loveappella Dellen Chiffon Trim Striped Thermal – Small – $54 – KEEP!
The chiffon trim is becoming a trend (at least, according to my Pinterest). I loved how this shirt was casual, but pretty at the same time. The pairing with a waffled thermal is unique, and something I would probably wear every single day.
And the best part? MACHINE WASHABLE!
41Hawthorn Aster Geo Print Belted Tabsleeve Shirtdress – Small – $68
But seriously, I’m kind of in love with this dress. It’s comfy, the pattern is modern, and who can say no to a shirtdress?! If I only had a reason to wear this dress…
Verdict: Returned (too big)
Bancroft Sofia Hammered Square Collar Necklace – $32
There you have it! My February Fix is in the books. What would you have kept (under the one item rule, of course)? I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any choice!
