I was wrong.
I was sure Baby C2 was a boy. You all just pushed me over the edge when 68 percent of you agreed with me. I was already planning a vintage race car themed room, and obsessing over boy names. I was about 20 seconds away from giving all of those totes of baby girl clothes to my preggo friends.
Shows what I know.
It’s official. Baby C2 is a perfectly healthy baby GIRL. Apparently my family only makes girls. I have two sisters, and now I have two daughters…
…and that’s pretty stinkin’ exciting.
Two words.
Matching. Outfits.

I’ll be back tomorrow with my official FIVE MONTH bumpdate (can you believe I’m already halfway there?). Today, let’s just be amazed by my lack of mother’s intuition… and the fact that I already bought Baby C2 new clothes on thredUP. Since we’re lacking in the girl clothes department, obviously.
Also, excuse the dust around here. I’m mid-redesign. And while I would normally put the brakes on posting until it was done, especially with all my new followers from the September FARM giveaway, there’s just a lot happening right now!
Don’t worry. That Times New Roman logo is about to be replaced with something fantastic by the amazing Bob Ewing. Local friends, check him out.
Congrats! Girls are great…(cause’ we are girls). Ha!
Thank you!
How exciting. This sounds just like me! I just knew I was having a girl, and Bennett is totally a boy. Ha.
That mother’s intuition thing is a load of crap, isn’t it? 😉
Congrats! So exciting, plus matching outfits, huge bonus! The best I can do with my boy/girl combo is get matching jammies…
Thank you! My husband is under the impression that we don’t need to buy any new clothes for baby girl, but he’s about to learn a hard reality. 😉
yay! what a fun surprise. sisters are the best!
I agree! I mean, I don’t have any brothers, but I’m going to assume that sisters are way better. Haha!
