I Said Yes!

I had never been proposed to by another woman…

…until this Labor Day weekend.

We definitely wore our Minnie Mouse ears from the time we left the Indianapolis airport until the time we left Walt Disney World. No shame.

Our wonderful friend Cody introduced Courtny and me to Amanda nearly two years ago. Obviously, two girls who share a love for Disney, crafting and vino are totally going to hit it off. We have survived our own wine festival (barely), camped in the 110* heat, and even achieved our childhood dreams of meeting the the Disney princesses during our New Years Eve trip to Walt Disney World last year. Clearly, we were meant to be.

Then, last month, something awesome happened.

These two crazy kids got engaged.

Courtny and I couldn’t be happier for this future Mr. & Mrs., and now I am even more honored to be a part of their very special day next summer!

The bow looked so much better before I destroyed it.

I mean, seriously. How adorable is this? Of course, I said yes! Yay for wedding planning!

Otherwise, our Labor Day weekend was full of relaxation and time with friends and family. Exactly what I needed before the upcoming craziness of the next 7 weeks and 3 days (not that I’m counting).

Oh, and we ended the holiday with dinner with this cutie. Weekend = success.
