It’s my little Valentine’s FIRST Valentine’s Day!

This was actually Valentine’s Day last year. We had just found out we were having a baby, and that preggo was headed for filet minion – to explain our happy faces.
My big Valentine and I went on our first date night last night in the last 3.5 months, thanks to Grandma P. We left the house without a plan, and our conversation went something like this:
Courtny: Do you want to go to a movie?
Me: Not really. Can we go to Lowes instead?
And so we did. That, my friends, is how you know you’re 1. old, 2. married, and 3. a parent.
We also went to Upland Brewing Company’s Carmel Tap Room, and just so happened to run into our besties who had the same idea. Date night turned into group date night, and a baby was still involved.
No worries. We have a real date night, sans baby, on Sunday. Two dates in one week?! Gettin’ real crazy up in here!

Score on the adorable onesie! For Valentine’s Day we picked up Taco Bell and ate it on the couch while we watched Dr. Phil. We are such dorks! We even had a babysitter and that is still what we did. I guess it is okay that is what we do on Valentine’s Day. It made us both happy. My mom kept him overnight so we slept in which was the best part.
