Ladies and gentleman, it is officially December 1. You know what that means.
It’s birthday month, my friends.
But really. Aside from December obviously being the best month of the year because I was born in it, I am stoked for 31 days full of Christmas lights, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, eggnog, and ugly sweater parties. I’m so excited to be Santa Claus this year that I can’t even stand it. In fact, I’m already drooling over the thought of traditional Christmas breakfast with my family because homemade cinnamon rolls basically rock my socks off. Throw in a little teensy bit of snow and a warm fire, and I could pretty much qualify as the official Holiday Cheermeister.
And you know what happens when I get in the Christmas spirit, right?
I get extra generous and decide to round up a few of my very favorite things to give away to my awesome Cotten Tales readers. Because I just love you all.
Just call me Oprah.
Four of you (that’s right, FOUR) are going to receive an amazing stocking stuffer that was truly hand-picked by me. These are just a few of my favorite things, and I hope you enjoy them just as much as I have! So, without further adieu…
1 | “Not Too Tights” by Wade & Belle
Nobody likes uncomfortable tights. And nobody likes a muffin top. Cue Wade & Belle.
I love this line of hosiery simply because it’s easy to wear, it looks great on everyone, and they have adorable patterns that make me feel fashion-forward even when I’m totally not. Which is normally.
Stockings for your stockings? I think so. One of you will win two pairs of these amazing tights!
2 | “The Cozy Pack” by Candelles
I have a candle problem. It gets worse when Candelles releases a new line.
I discovered Candelles through my blog-crush Living in Yellow, and I’ve been an addict ever since. Candelles is a small business located in Pennsylvania, and all of their soy candles are hand-poured and eco-friendly. They arrive in just the most perfect pretty little package, which always makes me feel like it’s my birthday. And they smell fantastic. Bonus.
One of you will win a Cozy Pack, which features THREE incredible winter scents in adorable little mini-mason jars. In fact, I’m jealous I can’t keep them for myself.
3 | $20 Stitch Fix Gift Card
If you’ve been following along, you already know about my Stitch Fix obsession. I’m about to create another addict by buying one of you a Stitch Fix box for the holidays.
If your husband/fiance/boyfriend asks, I was not the person to introduce you to this. I’ll deny everything.
4 | $125 Ardent Owl Photography Gift Card
Uh, yeah. My love for Cammi at Ardent Owl Photography has never been a secret. She’s only one of my most favorite people, ever.
She’s been there with us for so many of our life events – from shooting our maternity, newborn, 6 month and 1 year photos, to actually coming to our hospital room to take our first family photos when Dorothy was a mere few hours old. She’s by far the best photographer I’ve ever worked with, and I recommend her to everyone I know. Last Christmas, our wall of Christmas cards looked like an Ardent Owl Photography gallery. She’s that fantastic.
Lucky for you, Cammi is giving one of you a HUGE Christmas present. Like, $125 huge. Isn’t she amazing?

What a great giveaway! I’m not very tech-savvy, so I’m not sure I’m even entered correctly. :\
But 2 or my favorite traditions:
1. My husband and I get a real tree every year–we have a date night, buy a new ornament, & get our tree. The real trees make your house smell amazing!
2. On Christmas Eve, we take Marshall out on a drive to see if we can spot Rudolph! Then come home & we read him The Polar Express. We plan to video it every year!

Exchanging presents with immediate family on Christmas Eve. It makes the giving and getting more special before the big haul from Santa on Christmas Day. 🙂

I love so much but driving around to see lights is a top favorite tradition…but also I love the 24 hours of A Christmas Story on Dec 24/25. I literally will watch that movie every waking hour. But finally..having kids takes Christmas to a whole new level. It’s so exciting to make Christmas so special for them.
Thanks for the giveaway!! EEK! hope I win!!!

We started buying a real tree last year and we have decorated while watching Home Alone. Mike’s entire Baker side of the family gets together every Christmas evening where we all eat, drink and have a white elephant gift exchange 🙂

My kids always decorate gingerbread houses. And we always host Christmas Eve dinner at our house. Happy Holidays!

My favorite Christmas tradition is actually my older brother’s tradition! He has always stayed with us Christmas Eve and still does now with his wife and my nieces!!! It is so much fun with the girls there in the morning!

My favorite Christmas tradition is that we celebrate Christmas Eve at our house, since in Germany that is when you actually celebrate Christmas. So we would have “Rouladen” a German dish with red cabbage. Then on the 25th we celebrate again at Leif’s parents. Celebrating twice is the best! 🙂

Christmas eve dinner and pj’s are my favorite tradition.

We love our advent calendar(s)!

Turning off all the lights in the house, just leaving the tree lights on and enjoying the quiet sparkling lights. I always enjoy taking time to be still.

Samantha I so much enjoy reading your blog. Each writing is like the next chapter of a book you’ve written. You have shared so many different avenues in your writings and I have enjoyed all of them.
As this holiday season begins, bring your own traditions to real life and may they continue with you through the years.
Merry Christmas and God Bless.
