I have this bestie. Let’s call her Amanda, because that’s her name.
Amanda is the QUEEN of gender predictions.
Since we’ll be having a peek at Baby C2 next week (eek!), Amanda has been rapid-fire texting me old wives tales. What does the Chinese Gender Calendar say? Have you peed on baking soda? What are you craving? What is the heart rate? Ring Test? How’s your skin?
I should mention that Amanda and her husband chose not to find out the gender of their daughter before she was born. This makes her an expert at this type of voodoo. 
So, for fun, I’m playing along… but I’m still not peeing on baking soda.

Most of the wives’ tales were true for Liam. I did crave sweet instead of salty, though.
We find out next week as well. I’m so excited! Can’t wait to see what baby Cotten is I really have no idea what to guess.

I posted the wive’s tales at our gender reveal party and had each guest cast their vote. All the wive’s tales said boy except heart rate. Well we were blessed with another girl!
