37 Weeks

How far along? 37 weeks

Total weight gain? 34.5 lbs.

Maternity clothes? These days, you’re lucky I’m wearing my own clothing. Let alone wearing semi-appropriate clothing to work. I say “semi-appropriate” because there is no way my feet are going into anything other than flip flops right now.

Stretch marks? Ugh. Yes. And they itch. And whatever rash was on my belly…now has moved on to my feet and ankles. I’m seriously scratching so hard that my feet are bleeding. If the Zyrtec/oatmeal baths/Benadryl cream/ice packs don’t work, the doctor who told me that it is normal and I’ll have to tough it out will be toughing it out with me at 3 a.m….

Sleep? I don’t even know what sleep is anymore. But, since I know Baby C will be equally as stubborn as Courtny and me, I like to think of this stage of pregnancy as “training.”

Best moment this week: At 9 months pregnant, I totally rocked a bachelorette party – complete with penis straws. I stole this photo collage from Kristin, because she again is the responsible blogger who takes photos. If Baby C holds out another week or so, I can potentially say I was the only sober person at the Mathew Wedding next weekend.

Miss anything? The Bud Light Lime up there looks amazing.

Movement: Definitely moving less, but she does still move. I think she’s just cramped in there.

Food cravings: Sweets. Anything with sugar. Like this box of chocolate covered doughnuts sitting in front of me? I could totally dominate all of these.

Anything make you queasy or sick? Nope

Gender: Why is this even a question?

Labor signs?: Braxton Hicks, a few “real” contractions, cramps… She’s still stuck in there pretty good, though.

Symptoms: I don’t think this question qualifies anymore. I’m 37 weeks pregnant. I have every symptom.

Belly button in or out? Out

Wedding rings on or off? Ha. Haha. They’re getting uncomfortable. I managed to get my right hand ring off last night, but my wedding rings are not going anywhere. I’ve tried soaking my hand in ice to reduce swelling, olive oil, the string method…I’m about to try Windex. Any other ideas?
