Want to learn more about Stitch Fix? Start at the beginning for all the details, and then follow my boxes so far!
This is my 29th Stitch Fix.
Dorothy is 33 months old.
She is pretty much a supermodel in toddler potty training fashion.
Coincidence? I think not.
For this Fix, I had a few specific requests:
- I loved the shape of last month’s Renee C Naveen Dress, but I hated the pattern. So, I asked for another sheath style dress this month.
- Light wash jeans or shorts
- Toms sandals, or some sort of brown leather sandal
I also mentioned my Pinterest board in my Stylist note this month, which I don’t normally do. I just assumed my stylists always looked at the Pinterest board attached to my account. Making a note of it as a reminder seems to have helped though, since I received two exact items that I had pinned recently!

Papermoon Birch Lace Detail Blouse – Small – $44
For example, I definitely pinned this Papermoon blouse. And it’s just as adorable in real life as I thought it would be.
I’m not usually super crazy about lace, but I do like the mixed materials in this top. I think the colors and florals could transition well from summer to fall, so this was a real contender!
Verdict: Returned
Color: Coral
My Pairings:
Necklace | Stella & Dot
Jeans | Stitch Fix
Pistola Tory Distressed Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans – 4 – $88
So, these jeans are my pre-pregnancy size.
They zip.
They button.
And they are obviously made of magic.
Sold.
Verdict: Keep!
Color: Blue
My Pairings:
Blouse | Stitch Fix
Sandals | Target via thredUP
Pixley Eileen Honeycomb Texture Knit Tank – Small – $54
This is another blouse I pinned recently. The fabric is much thicker/heavier than I expected, and it seems like it would snag really easily. Or maybe I’m just paranoid because my wedding ring snags literally everything.
I love the pattern and color, but I don’t think the cut is doing much for me. I hate to send this back, but…
Verdict: Returned
Color: Navy
My Pairings:
Jeans | Stitch Fix
Hailey 23 Kerrigan Dress – Small – $78
The amount of “sucking it in” happening in this photo is unbelievable.
Let’s start with a positive. I love the top of this dress. The wrap style is super flattering, and the jersey fabric is perfect.
The bottom, though. Yikes.
That’s not lace, FYI. That’s a really heavy textured fabric. The waistline is hitting at my natural waist, but it doesn’t flare out right away like you think it should… which makes my hips (and love handles) look freaking gigantic. I’d be more upset if I didn’t literally have a c-section less than two months ago, but holy crap this is not a flattering cut.
Verdict: Returned
Color: Navy
My Pairings:
Shoes | East Spirit via a local consignment store
RD Style Keelie Dress – Small – $68
Yeah. Couldn’t even get this on.
You win some, you lose some.
Verdict: Returned

So, what do we think? We had two items not fit correctly, but it’s definitely because Stitch Fix went back down to my regular pre-pregnancy size this month (they sized up last month). Guess I’ll be hitting the spin bike a little harder before next Fix…

I think you look adorable in EVERYTHING! But I’m going to be hitting the spin classes too before I order another fix… I hate the C-section pouch that doesn’t want to go away!

You are selling me on the Stitch Fix concept. I will look into it after this baby is born! Also I love the dress on you! I think it looks fabulous and I see no love handles whatsoever. You look great! But I totally understand when things don’t look or fit how you envision. Looking forward to seeing what you get next!
