2014: Year In Review

My husband asked me why I don’t write Christmas letters. I told him nothing exciting happened to us this year.

He then proceeded to stare at me and say, “You’re freaking kidding me, right?”

Okay, so a lot happened to us this year.

Like, we both got new jobs…

…And we traveled (see: San Francisco, New York City, Las Vegas, Denver, and even La Grange, Kentucky).

 

We threw a few parties. Like this one, this one…

…Oh, and this one.

 

We did a complete home renovation on our own…

…And thought we had lost our minds half way through.

 

We celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with steaks and Moscow Mules…

…And stood up with our besties when they said, “I do.”

 

We sold our first home…

…And packed up our lives to move back home to Crawfordsville.

 

We watched Dorothy grow up before our eyes…

…And celebrated her first birthday with family and friends (and caramel apple sangria).

 

I made my first Thanksgiving dinner…

…And no one asked me to make food for Christmas.

So, maybe it has been one heck of a year. Here’s hoping 2015 brings more travels, adventure and excitement for the Cotten family!
