Happy Friday!
With only 12 more days remaining in my pregnancy (can I get a HALLELUJAH?!), I thought it would be appropriate to share my current third trimester favorites today. I can truly attribute my sanity, even at my gigantic uncomfortable size, to these five things.
One || Raw Shea Cupuacu Mommy Stretch Mark Butter Cream
To put it simply, this stuff smells divine. The first time I used it, I nearly made Mr. Cotten go to the grocery store and buy me pistachio ice cream… at midnight. I’m not going to lie – I’ve contemplated eating this stuff to see if it tastes as good as it smells.
It looks like a sugar scrub in the container, but this is definitely a creamy/lotion-y/oily texture when it goes on. A little goes a long way, and it lasts a good 24 hours. I have had far fewer issues with stretch marks this pregnancy, which I partially attribute to this miracle butter cream. Every time I start to feel my skin stretch, I slather on the pistachio oil and immediately feel better… and smell delicious.
Two || Perrier Pink Grapefruit
Sparkling water has become a staple for me. I’m not a big water drinker (even fun water bottles only interest me for a minute), but water with bubbles is a totally different story. Give me all the carbonation! I usually stick to plain Perrier sparkling water, but right now I can’t get enough of the pink grapefruit flavor. It’s not too sweet, and doesn’t taste artificial at all.
Three || Tums Smoothie Peppermint
I know it’s an old wives’ tale, but there are two things I know for a fact.
One, Baby C2 has a head full of hair.
Two, I eat these like candy.
Four || DryBar Triple Sec 3-in-1
Speaking of hair…
My hair has drastically changed over the last nine months. Last pregnancy, I had super thick curly hair that I needed to wash every other day. This pregnancy, I have a limp wave that I can only wash once a week. DryBar’s Triple Sec is seriously my best friend at the moment. As in, I use it every single day. A dry shampoo, texturizer and volumizer in one… and it smells amazing.
There seems to be a reoccurring theme here.
Five || Talenti Roman Raspberry Sorbetto
Ice cream gives me serious heartburn. So, I thought I could outsmart my craving by eating a non-dairy sorbetto instead.
I was wrong. It still gives me heartburn. But it’s so worth it.

I can assure you, in 13 days my favorites will be baby snuggles, sleep and adult beverages. 😉
What could you not live without in your third trimester? Or in your pregnancy in general?

I hear ya sister….I use the same brand belly lotion, but I use the Shea butter lotion in a pump from them. Love it!!! Love Talenti gelato. Pretty much any flavor. And Perrier grapefruit has been a big favorite of mine as well. I throw some fruit in there with it and pretend I’m drinking a cocktail! Haven’t had the heartburn yet but I will remember these for future!!!

I’ll have to check out the Shea butter lotion for later! I can’t get enough of my belly butter – it just smells so good! 🙂

Does that stretch mark cream happen to relieve the itching at all? My belly is starting to itch like CRAZY and I’ve been in search of some sort of cream. If I could get a cream to prevent stretch marks too, even better!
Samantha Cotten says
I’m not sure, but it’s worth a try! My belly hasn’t itched at all this pregnancy, but occasionally my skin will feel like it’s tearing (it’s as pleasant as it sounds). The Raw Shea has given me immediate relief from that awfulness, and has prevented any new stretch marks so far (at 37+5)!

Yay! So soon!
