Necessary Research|Beauty Bar at Geist

My husband is pretty good lookin’.

Look at that stud! I know all of you ladies out there are jealous that I snagged this man off the market nearly 10 years ago. He has gorgeous blue eyes, he has biceps bigger than my thighs, and he occasionally dresses like he has some fashion sense. You can’t get much better than that.

Except for his feet.

I swear, my husband has the nastiest feet on the planet. It has gotten so bad recently that I have resorted to giving my husband pedicures. I’m not sleeping with those dogs.

So, when the Beauty Bar at Geist invited me to visit their adorable new salon, I decided to conduct some necessary research. My husband needs professional help, and it just so happens that the Beauty Bar is the only Indiana salon with a liquor license (and a fully stocked bar).

They have beer, ESPN and massage chairs. If that can’t get him in for a macho pedicure, I don’t know what will.

My a.m. manicure was much more girly (all for the sake of research, of course). I went with a classic mimosa and OPI’s Skating on Thin Ice-Land. I’m no stranger to a manicure, and I have to say that my technician at the Beauty Bar, Tanisha, was one of the best. It has been several days, and I’m still in awe over the shape of my nails (plus the polish is still going strong!).

There is nothing more relaxing than a hand massage and champagne on a dreary Saturday morning. But don’t just take my word for it – try it for yourself.

The Beauty Bar at Geist is a full salon, so be sure to check out their services here. I took a little tour of their upstairs hair salon and color bar, and immediately fell in love when I learned that they are an Aveda salon.

Did I mention that you can see the lake from the chair? Not a bad view.

In all, a fantastic morning spent with the lovely ladies at the Beauty Bar. I highly recommend this spot to my central Indiana readers! You can expect me to be back, husband in tow.
