36 Weeks

How far along? 36 weeks

Total weight gain? 31.5 lbs.

Maternity clothes? With it finally being fall and all in Indiana (which means it’s a high of 68* one day, and 80* the next), I’ve had to really stretch some clothing to translate seasons (literally…stretch). ~~not so~~ Luckily, I’ve had a new symptom of hot flashes added to my plate, so I tend to get away with my summer maternity wear.

Stretch marks? Remember how I found a few little stretch marks last week? Yeah, this week they’ve turned into something entirely different. In fact, it’s more like having poison ivy on my belly. Itchy, red and generally uncomfortable. Don’t worry – I’ve talked to the nurse. Pregnancy is a cruel, cruel beast.

Sleep? Last night, Courtny told me we needed to talk… in a very serious voice (which always elicits an “oh, crap” in my mind). Apparently I have been taking up the entire bed, you know with my 15 pillows and such, and now he spends his nights teetering on the edge of the mattress. Oops.

Best moment this week: Girls Night, wedding dress shopping and dinner with good friends. No DINK* time has been wasted this week! *DINK= Double Income No Kids

Miss anything? I should just stop going anywhere that has the remote possibility of serving alcohol.

Movement: She’s moving a little less now, but when she does move I definitely know it (as does everyone around me). She’s officially outgrown me.

Food cravings: Much less of an appetite this week too. Wow. I must really be coming to the end of this thing, huh?

Anything make you queasy or sick? Nope

Gender: Why is this even a question?

Labor signs?: I feel like she has dropped (anyone else have a guess?). Still with the Braxton Hicks…

Symptoms: Oh, everything. I have spurts of energy, and then I have crashes.

Belly button in or out? Out

Wedding rings on or off? They are permanent.

Happy or moody? I’ve been in a generally good mood this week.
