I think I confused Stitch Fix.
You see, in my stylist note I asked for transitional fall pieces. It will be cold here in the Midwest before we know it, so I wanted to get a jump start on my autumn wardrobe. I specifically mentioned my Pinterest board again, and noted that I would like to see colors like burgundy, mustard, olive, black, etc.
Stylist Kerri didn’t get any farther than “burgundy.”
Four of the five pieces in my box are burgundy or red. I mean, sure, I like burgundy. But I don’t think I needed THAT MUCH burgundy.
Oh well. Here we go with box #30!

Kut From The Kloth Theresa Zipper Detail Cargo Skinny Pant – 4 – $88
These photograph a lot better than they look in real life.
In the picture, you can’t tell that these are skin tight. And you can’t see that the cargo zipper is really just highlighting my thighs.
The color is nice, though.
Looking at the picture, I’m kind of kicking myself that I sent these back. But then I remember that they almost didn’t come back off after I put them on… so there’s that.
Verdict: Returned
Color: Burgundy
My Pairings:
Blouse | Calvin Klein via thredUP
Shoes | Kohls (old)
Loveappella Zola Knit Dress – Small – $64
I have pinned this dress in other colors (purple) and prints (black and white stripe). Of course, I get this red and blue version… which I kind of hate.
Also, you wouldn’t believe the sucking in and angling I had to do to get this photo. The super clingy Zola dress isn’t doing my three month postpartum body any favors here.
Verdict: Returned
Color: Red
My Pairings:
Necklace | Stitch Fix
Shoes | consignment store purchase!
Collective Concepts Rilo Button-Up Blouse – Small – $64
Yes, I live in Indiana. Yes, my parents are farmers. Yes, I have an inherited preference in tractor color (always red).
No, I cannot pull off this shirt.
I like plaid, and I like silky blouses, but I’m not sure I like them together. Also, this top is a little boxy for my liking. Back it goes!
Verdict: Returned
Color: Burgundy
My Pairings:
Necklace | Stitch Fix
Jeans | Stitch Fix
Boots | Forever 21 via thredUP
Pixley Greenich Striped Knit Top – Small – $48
This shirt is so “inside my box,” I can’t even stand it. Burgundy stripes and faux leather elbow patch on a high-quality knit shirt that I’ll wear 1,000 times over? Yes.
The Greenich shirt is a little overpriced for me (I definitely wouldn’t pay $48 for it!), but with a credit to my account I actually paid much, much less. Like a whopping $6. That’s the only reason this is a keeper!
Verdict: Keep!
Color: Burgundy
My Pairings:
Necklace | SweetBees (baby teething necklace – similar here)
Jeans | Stitch Fix
Shoes | Tieks
Toms Zoe Chambray Sandals – 7 – $59
I have asked for Toms sandals in my last two boxes, but Stitch Fix was always out of my size. So, obviously I was very excited to see these pretty babies in my box this month. I was sure that these would be the keeper.
Except they’re too big.
I just can’t win.
We’ll try again next month!
Verdict: Returned
Color: Light Blue

So, I’m still struggling a bit with size. Sometimes I can wear my pre-pregnancy size, and sometimes I just don’t even come close. And since I’m nowhere closer to a consistent work out routine than I was last month, maaaaybbeee I should update my style profile.
We’ll see.
Next month should be an exciting box, so be sure to stop back soon! I have asked for items that take off a decade and two pregnancies… because it’s the husband’s high school reunion! Eek.
Momma needs to look hot. 😉
